A financial business analyst is responsible for providing financial analysis, insights, and recommendations to support decision-making for the organization. • Conduct financial analysis to support decision-making and identify business opportunities
• Evaluate financial performance, including sales trends, costs, budgets, and forecasting
• Conduct cost-benefit analysis and return on investment calculations
• Provide insights on business performance and recommend areas for improvement
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data, develop models, and present recommendations
• Ensure data accuracy and integrity through regular data analysis and validation
• Participate in the development of financial plans and budgets
• Monitor market trends and assess the potential impact on the organization
• Communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders in an easily understood manner
• Develop and maintain financial models and databases to support decision-making
• Stay informed about industry trends and new developments in financial analysis and modelling
• Collaborate with other departments to identify and resolve financial issues
• Ensure financial processes are compliant with internal controls and regulatory requirements
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is desirable.
• 3-5 years of working experience in a few industries in a financial analysis role preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and be able to use data and insights to drive business decisions
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling, as well as experience with other data visualization and reporting tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential
• Be able to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner
